There's a Time For Everything

Yes, nothing last forever and there's a time for everything.

I got pretty shocking news from my good friend a couple days ago...

How life grabbed him all of sudden, out of nowhere, without any information in advance... and led him away from his daily life and his ideal plan of future.

Won't give any detail here, but yes, apparently those news just like slapping me to realize once again.

That there's a time for everything...

And whether we like it or not, at one point, we have to say "So long, farewell" to the world once we know,

then welcoming the "new" that greets us in the present time.

Have to say, I HATE farewell... in any kind of form and situation.

But there is a time to greet and to part. A time to hold on and to let go.

It will happen to anyone, to every human being.

No excuses, no exceptions.

No matter how comfortable our situation, our life.

No matter how close somebody is for us, no matter how dear they are.

The hand of destiny will reach us one day...

Separating us from things that we think are ours, and lead us to the road that

only belong to us.

The road, that we have to walk it down alone...

The road, where we cannot invite them to walk with...

As for me now, the memories of our summer days are recalled recently.

How we shared our laughter,

how we enjoyed the feeling of adrenaline that rushed on.

How we spent night and days together...

I remember those times, I remember the adventure.

I remember Karimun Jawa and farewell journey.

Those careless time, when we all were free. Nothing to worry,

nothing to think further.

All we knew was how happy we were...

Good days as we were embracing each carefree moment.

Working together, cold beer cheers, spontaneity crazy journey...

Just like we would be forever young...

But as time passed by, reality grabbed us.

From three of us, I was the one that needed to leave first.

My summer time had over and I had to go..., took separated journey for fighting my own life.

I was sad and hard to leave, but two of them sent back and accompanied me until the last moment before I departed.

And there, we parted... I went away and they stayed together.

... for a while...

Not so long, another one needed to leave.

Back to his hometown in order to fulfilled the request from his parents. Been staying there for quite a while until now.

The last one stayed still... Enjoying life, working on idealism, planning the future as the way he's been thinking of.

...

until recently, before the hand of destiny finally reached him and put him on the different road.

The new life game awaited for him too, now.

Our careless summer has gone, now we walked on separated road of our own...

Clueless, what will be in the future

Unsure, where this road will lead us to

Longing, to the past where there's no big responsible about life

Oh well... that's life after all and ready or not,

it goes on and on without gives any space for negotiating nor compromising

Sometimes it forces us to leave the familiar place and friendly face

and greet the whole new situation.

While all we can do is only give our best to adjust and make the best of it.

For there will be lessons learned in time,

in order to make a better us in the future.

There's a time for everything...

A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing.

We've been embracing the good moment of life...

Now it might be the time to refrain... and to let go....

And welcoming what awaits us in the future.
